The Face of Blissful Beginnings
Meet Alexis Desmond, the face behind Blissful Beginnings Doula Services. Alexis is a mother of two, a loving partner, a passionate gardener, and an avid member of her community.
In her free time, she manages a Facebook group called Free Food Louisville, an online platform for food sharing and donation for families in need. She also owns a breastmilk donation group called The Milk Circle - Louisville, a virtual space to bridge the gap between parents who produce too much liquid gold, and not enough.
With her children being 2 and 3, she understands the trials of motherhood. Evelyn (3) is a girly-girl through and through. She's the life of the party and loves anything pink and sparkly. Mason (2) is a big independent man who never lets mom out of his sight. He loves cars, dirt, and anything he's not supposed to be in!
She has a passion for home-grown produce, and has a backyard garden consisting of: over 35 tomato plants, potatoes, cucumbers, peppers, cabbage, strawberries, chives, basil, and more!
On her nights off, she enjoys Disney movie marathons while snuggling on the couch with her family.
